Pork Chop is a lovable boy with a heart as big as his personality. From the moment he settles in, his affectionate and easygoing nature shines through - he’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people! He is currently in the process of completing his medical makeover which includes his neuter, and double cherry eye repair.

 

This sweet guy absolutely loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a playful canine companion. He enjoys wrestling and takes comfort in following the lead of his doggy friends, making him a great addition to a multi-dog household.

 

Pork Chop has been doing wonderfully in foster care. He is house-trained (with only minor marking early on), walks nicely on leash, and is comfortable being left alone for short periods. He’s not destructive and has shown no signs of separation anxiety. At home, Pork Chop is the ultimate cuddle bug. He enjoys a few short walks each day but is just as happy to relax, nap, and soak up affection. He may even try to convince you he’s a lap dog! While he can be a little shy with quick movements at first, he warms up quickly and becomes a loyal, loving companion. Due to his size and enthusiasm, he would be best suited to a home with older children.

Pork Chop would thrive in a home where someone is around often, with a fenced yard where he can safely explore. His friendly nature means he’d happily greet anyone he meets, so a secure space is important.
