Meet Piper!

1 Year Old, Doberman X

Powered by love - and zoomies - meet your next adventure buddy!

Piper is a 1.5-year-old bundle of athleticism, curiosity, and affection. With a love for running, exploring, and playing, she’s the perfect fit for an active home that can match her energy and zest for life. Whether it’s trail runs, forest hikes, or a backyard squirrel patrol, Piper is always ready to go!

Piper would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and either an energetic canine companion or active humans who can give her plenty of exercise—at least two hours a day. That said, she’s just as happy as an only dog if she’s getting the stimulation and attention she craves.

Piper’s the kind of dog who could shine in agility or dog sports; she can even jump six feet in the air and climb trees!

Piper is fully house-trained, shows no signs of separation anxiety, and doesn’t get into mischief when left alone. While she walks on a harness, Halti, or slip lead depending on the setting, leash training is ongoing—especially when squirrels are involved! She’s affectionate and loves people, but because she tends to greet with enthusiastic jumps, she’s best suited to a home with adults or older children.

Piper is currently on a raw and kibble diet, loves liver treats, and does show some food guarding around other dogs, so mealtimes are best managed with structure. Piper also has a protective streak with her people, which her future family should be prepared to continue working on with gentle guidance and consistency.

With the right balance of structure, exercise, and love, Piper will be an incredible companion. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, adventurous pup who’s as cuddly as she is athletic—Piper might just be the perfect fit.
