Uriel - 9 month old Mexipup
Uriel was rescued from a vacant lot in Mexico as a wee puppy with his 2 brothers. He was malnourished, starving and his mom could not be found. Despite this rough start to life, Uriel has displayed a warrior spirit and is now healthy and doing incredibly well in his foster home.
Uriel is very shy and timid, therefore we hope to find him a home with another well balanced dog to help him gain confidence and learn how wonderful it is to be a dog. He is house trained and his foster family are working daily with him on leash training and basic commands. He is crate trained and spends part of his day in the crate while his humans are at work. He LOVES to play with toys, especially chew toys. Uriel has experience meeting new humans, children and dogs and he does wonderfully. While his timid personality makes him a little slow to warm up, he is a complete sweetheart once he knows you. He would do best in a quiet home, with a family who respects his need to slowly adjust and settle. Uriel absolutely loves to spend time playing outside, so a fenced in backyard is a must for this little man!
