Lili ~ 10 Years Old ~ Poodle/Bichon

Meet Lili!  If this adorable face doesn't steal your heart, her happy, sweet personality certainly will!

Lili joined our rescue after she was surrendered to a Quebec kill pound. We feel she was likely the only dog in her former home, however she adjusted to living with other dogs and would be happy either way...but she may have slight preference to being the sole Queen of her castle. She is also sharing her foster home with a cat without issue, but we do think because of her age and skittishness, that a child-free home would be best for her.

Lili does currently sleep happily in a crate at night, and is crate trained when left on her own. However, due to some separation anxiety, she will bark when crated during the day, so a home where she is not going to be left alone for extended periods of time would suit her just fine.

Lili loves her walks, and is easily managed on leash. She can be occasionally vocal, so apartment living may not be ideal for her. Her Foster Mom tells us that Lili bonds quickly and strongly with her primary caregiver, but is not possessive in any way. She enjoys finding a warm sunbeam to bathe in and loves being outside when the weather is nice. For an older dog, she has a lot of energy, and enjoys short walks throughout the day in addition to her yard time. She is considered a non-shedding breed, and she would make a wonderful companion for a senior person or couple.
