Cole - 7 years old - Rottweiler

He is handsome, smart, sweet, and loving…. a true gentleman. Meet Cole!

At only 7 years old, Cole was surrender to a kill pound and K9 Crusaders rescued him just in the nick of time. The reason for his surrender is unknown. His foster mom is especially puzzled as Cole is apparently the PAWfect dog! Cole is fully house trained, and is great with humans, dogs, and cats, however since being in our care he has not met any young children. He is very loyal to his person, always wanting to be next to them. He is also a pleasure when strangers come over. Cole loves his snuggles and is affectionate right away. Every night he sleeps right next to his foster mom in a cozy bed on the floor. Some favorite activities include adventures, CAR RIDES (his absolute favorite), running errands with his foster mom, and walks. He does need a strong and confident handler as his leash walking needs some work, although he is learning very quickly. He has no issues being left home alone, and just patiently waits for his humans return. Cole was not very active and a bit overweight when he arrived, so his foster mom has started him on short, slow walks and is increasing these as she sees fit. Cole currently only speaks French, and is well trained at come, sit, paw, lay down, etc. His foster mom is currently working with him to help him understand these commands in English.
